, this is just fan art. No one asked me to illustrate this story. I would have not accepted it as a job lol, he most challenging story I could think of drawing was this because of the subject matter. You cant just draw the words, it would ruin it, and be gross. The brilliance of his story is the terror you imagine, which had to be maintained in an illustrated version. I fun challenge. Had to do it a couple of times before (I think anyway) it worked.

Tried to send Chuck a copy, but he never wrote me back. Chuck, if you’re seeing this shoot me an email, I mean no harm, really wanted to illustrate it, and didn’t know what to do with it, when it turned out in a way I really liked. This is just the first of the three internal stories that make up the whole. Didn’t want to post the whole thing, and leave a little mystery… This is the first story from “Haunted” OMG SO GOoD.
